Centre of Management Accounting to come up at IIM-C

KOLKATA:
Indian Institute of Management (Calcutta) have entered into a coaction with
the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, London, to put up a Centre
for Management Accounting at the IIM-C campus in Kolkata. The Centre will work to create
and circulate cognition to change direction accounting patterns in India
and other countries. This will
also surrogate the inter-disciplinary research in IIM-C and other academic
institutions in India, an IIM-C spokesman said on Wednesday. A MoU between the two
institutions have recently been signed. According to this, CIMA will patronize the
centre and a CIMA professor of direction accounting will take social classes for an
initial time period of three years. The administration of the Centre will be facilitated
by the creative activity of a Centre Advisory Board. IIM-C volition set about the
research to move as an academic host to the centre.
